Despite the obvious pressures placed upon the CJS at the present time we currently have vacancies for Duty Solicitors to work in our Essex and Suffolk teams .
Our Magistrates work is split across North and South Essex Teams together with an established team in our Ipswich office.
This is a full-time position, but part-time applications will be considered.

The successful applicants will be qualified Duty Solicitors with experience of managing their own caseload and conducting all of their own advocacy including conduct of their own trials.

We are actively seeking a Solicitor (PQE 2 years+) to join our very busy, hugely experienced and dynamic Professional Misconduct Team.
The Department is highly regarded both nationally and internationally and undertakes the conduct of serious Crime and Misconduct cases, Inquests and Regulatory Law Procedures on behalf of various Disciplined Services, both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in the field of Crime and Professional Discipline, will be able to work as part of a dedicated Team to a very high standard at all times and whilst under pressure.
Strong IT, inter-personal skills and a positive attitude are vital.
