We are keen to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive into our busy department at our Shoeburyness office who can hit the ground running and provide support for approximately 9 months on a full-time basis.
PQE: 3+ years
LOCATION: Shoeburyness, Essex
SALARY: £35,000 to £50,000 per annum or hourly rate to be agreed (dependent upon experience)
Commencing in September/early October you will take responsibility for a varied caseload of Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, tax and estate planning and Deputyship application matters.
To be considered for the role you must be able to commit to the whole contract and work from the office (some flexibility to work from home will be available). You will be assisted by a secretary and a paralegal and have support from the Partnership and other department colleagues. Knowledge of the LEAP case management system would be beneficial but not essential.
You must also have a condition free practising certificate, a sound background in Private Client law and offer exceptional levels of client care. You must also have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Up-to-date IT equipment (laptop, mobile phone etc.) will also be provided.
There is a significant opportunity, for the right candidate, to progress to a full or part time role permanent position in our Shoeburyness or Chelmsford offices in the future should they require.
Part time and flexible working requests will also be considered.

The position is initially for our Shoeburyness office with an option to relocate to another office within the firm, after 9 months, to support the department or to build up a caseload.
