As Partner in the firm’s Chelmsford office, Daren provides empathetic and practical advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances in all aspects of Family Law services.  Daren obtained his law degree at Brunel University before qualifying as a solicitor at a high street firm in Norwich in 2013. Daren joined Taylor Haldane Barlex, Chelmsford office as a Partner in 2025.

Expertise

Daren specialises in Divorce and separation for married and unmarried couples and Financial settlements of Family Law services, with the aim of helping clients resolve matters by agreement. He also has extensive experience in financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes and Pre-nuptial agreements.

Daren has a vast amount of experience of complex Children Act cases which involve Domestic abuse, safeguarding concerns and drug and alcohol related issues.

Daren can also assist with Change of name services.

Daren is empathetic and he takes the time to listen to a client’s concerns, before providing them with the appropriate advice, tailored to their individual circumstances. He aims to assist clients in what will be a stressful situation for them, by making the process as easy as possible.

Other interests

Daren enjoys spending time with his wife, and he is an avid Liverpool fan.
