Partner

Amanda qualified in 2006 and is an experienced solicitor who clients find approachable and professional.

With over 19 years of experience Amanda specialises in the niche field of residential long leasehold landlord and tenant matters. As a Partner at Taylor Haldane Barlex LLP in our Chelmsford office, Amanda represents freeholders, leaseholders and management companies and deals with a vast variety of matters from right to manage and collective enfranchisement to lease extensions, both voluntary and statutory.

Amanda frequently co-ordinates lease extensions for large developments of 100-400 flats but also helps individuals navigate through the lease extension process.

Amanda is experienced in all aspects of drafting to include leases, deeds of variation, deeds of rectification, licences to alter and licences to assign.   Amanda also regularly interprets leases and deals with more contentious matters such as breaches of lease.  Her areas of specialisation include:
