Kimberley graduated from the University of Suffolk in 2020 with a degree in Law before joining THB in November 2021. Since qualifying, she has developed a strong criminal defence practice, providing expert representation in matters ranging from driving offences to serious Crown Court cases. She is widely recognised for her meticulous preparation and her ability to put clients at ease during incredibly stressful situations, ensuring every individual feels heard and respected through a consistently high standard of service.

  • R v W – Successfully acquitted by a jury in a rape trial, thanks to meticulous preparation and a strong, evidence-based defence. The case required careful planning, attention to detail, and a strategic approach, all of which played a crucial role in securing a not guilty verdict
  • R v A – Secured a 17-year sentence for a client convicted of murder – an outcome achieved through rigorous case preparation, strategic advocacy, and a focus on mitigating factors. In a case where a significantly longer sentence was a real possibility, the result reflects a strong defence effort under challenging circumstances
  • R v F – Successfully persuaded the CPS to discontinue proceedings after making detailed representations that there was no realistic prospect of conviction. The case involved a defendant who had been unknowingly spiked on a night out and subsequently assaulted emergency workers while under the influence. Careful presentation of the evidence and surrounding circumstances led to the case being dropped before trial

Other Interests

Kimberely is a proud mum of two with a long-standing love for football – has been a loyal Ipswich Town supporter for years and holds a season ticket to prove it! When Kim is not cheering from the stands, she enjoys swimming to unwind and stay active. Kim also loves testing her brain with quiz shows like The 1% Club and The Chase. Whether it’s match day excitement, a good swim, or a trivia challenge, Kim is always up for something fun and engaging.
