Melanie Williams

Melanie qualified in 2006 in London. After qualifying, she went on to head the criminal defence department at her firm and eventually became a partner there. Melanie has always practiced exclusively criminal defence work.

Having moved to Suffolk recently, Melanie joined THB in 2021 and has quickly become an integral part of the Ipswich team. She has extensive experience of representing clients in the Magistrates’ Court, the Crown Court and police stations. She conducts both private and legal aid work.
