Shayaan Shaikh is a Trainee Solicitor specialising in criminal defence and regulatory law at THB Solicitors, based in the Chelmsford office. He is currently completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law and holds a First Class LLB (Hons). Shayaan is police station accredited and fluent in Urdu and Hindi, enabling him to advise a diverse client base with clarity and confidence.

Assisted the prosecuting team instructed by the Health and Safety Executive in a significant regulatory prosecution arising from serious offshore safety failings involving a FTSE 100 energy company and a specialist contractor. The proceedings resulted in substantial financial penalties and costs following guilty pleas to breaches of health and safety legislation.
