How does it work?

Each year THB Solicitors helps raise money for Will Aid by writing Wills, for free, in exchange for a charitable donation to Will Aid.

Who is eligible?

Anyone! There are no age restrictions to write your Will.

What type of Wills does Will Aid cover?

Will Aid covers a basic Codicil (Will amendment), a basic single Will, or a pair of straightforward joint Wills. If you should require a more ‘in-depth’ Will, then our Solicitors will be able to advise you accordingly of the fees for this.

How much is a donation?

Will Aid suggests a donation of £100 for a single basic Will and £180 for a pair of basic mirror Wills. Donations help support the vital work of Will Aid’s nine partner charities.

What do I need to bring?

You should bring two forms of identification to the appointment, a copy of any previous Will/s and, of course, an idea of your estate assets and details of those that you wish to benefit.

How do I book an appointment?

Please submit your enquiry directly to Will Aid , once you have signed up and the appointments are open, a member of our team will contact you to book your appointment to make your Will. Please be quick though – last year our appointments were fully booked within 48 hours!

We can take instructions in person at our Shoeburyness and Great Baddow offices or over the telephone. Call Shoeburyness office on 01702 298 282 or Great Baddow office on 01245 493 959 (however, we will need to meet you face to face once to satisfy ID requirements)
