Laura Cornwell

Laura works with separating and divorcing couples to help them to find a unified way forward during what can be a very emotionally challenging time for all involved, particularly where there are children are concerned.

In the coming months, Laura will also be working to become a Child Welfare Officer for a sports coaching academy.

Approachable and empathetic, Laura acts as an impartial ally with a listening ear and works collaboratively to help the parties to communicate their wishes and feelings to each other in a way that allows everyone to feel validated. By working in this way, Laura believes that this allows the doors of progress to open.

To her role, Laura brings with her personal experience of the family courts, mediation and family therapy. Laura’s experience has helped shape her passion for ensuring the voices of children are heard and their needs are always the priority. Laura firmly believes that having the opportunity to talk honestly and openly is the one of the most important factors when trying to work through a dispute.

Personally, Laura is married with 3 children, one of whom has a disability. She enjoys painting, cooking and spending time with her family.
